About

My name is Jeremy and I live in Chicago, IL. In my day job, I work at WireSpring Technologies, which makes software for digital signage displays and touchscreen kiosks. I spend a lot of time helping make our software easy-to-use, as well as working with customers to develop self-service applications that are intuitive and effective. With that said, the opinions on this site are entirely my own, and don’t reflect the likes, dislikes, or pet peeves of my employer.

This blog is about how small things can make a big difference in the user experience. I cover product and application design, usability testing, user guides, and all the other things that go into creating an experience that people can enjoy. Along the way, I also like to point out some of the practices that make certain products great while others suck beyond all logical reason.
